Hall of Presidents

Hall of Presidents is the attraction presenting Audio-Animatronics features of all the Presidents of United States. The hall is situated in Liberty Square at magic Kingdom. Since inception 1971, the hall continued to be updated to keep it current.

Imagineers at Disney's have the credit of successful development of Audio-Animatronics figure of Abraham Lincoln. The 25 minute show begins with presentation of film on history of nation showing how it got built through years of struggle and conflicts.

This film also projects long years of conflicts and liberties, the constitution and progress of America. Pam Fisher, Director and Show Writer of Disney worked with Kearns Goodwin developing the striking storyline for presentation.

The actor, David Morse contributed his inspiring performance to voice George Washington. The late actor, Royal Dano contributed voice for Abraham Lincoln. Walt Disney himself selected Royal Dano for the first Audio Animated figure of Lincoln.

David Morse enacted the role of Washington in "John Adams’, award winning HOB mini series. The latest is voice of Obama, recorded in White House Map Room. This recording includes presidential oath.

Original show of Hall of Presidents continued to be unaltered till 1993. Only incorporation to the film prior to 1993 was the song "The Battle Hymn of the Republic", written by poet, Julia Ward Howe in 1861.

This is considered a great civil war song for righteousness. This song was feature of ending of the film. The revision incorporated induction of higher keynotes for audio of Great Moments with Lincoln and redoing old Audio-Animatronics U.S.

Presidents. Initiatives of Eric Foner, Professor of History, Columbia University, in 1993 could convince Michael Eisner, the CEO of Disney, of much needed new adaptation of the show. Professor Foner rewrote total script of the show focusing more on slavery and other social issues of America. Foner has also rewritten the speech of Lincoln.

Now spectrum of the show is altogether new. There are many unique additions to the display of collections, which include George W. Bush's inaugural cowboy boots and dresses of former first ladies, and painted Easter eggs from White House egg hunt, on loan from Reagan Library, It is like a theatrical assembly of all US Presidents together.

President Lincoln is seen reciting Gettysburg Address. After the curtain rises, each of the US presidents is introduced. Presidential speeches of Washington and Obama have replaced older speeches heard in the shows. Your tickets for the show will expose you to feeling of great bond that works invisibly between people and the presidents.
