The Adventure Park's Sunshine Plaza is the main entrance sub-area. It comprises two portions, the one is a Golden Gateway which is situated outside the park and upon entering it you will find "California" written in giant letters and beside it giant murals standing, as if all are trying to show the glory of California and the other portion of Sunshine Plaza is the Gateway Plaza; it is the main entrance to the Disney's Adventure Park.
Upon entering the Gateway Plaza you will cross the replicated Golden Gate Bridge of San Francisco Bay, over which the monorail crosses throughout the day.
As you move further you will find a giant metal Sun in front of you, which has magical surrounding effects with its reflections; it is actually themed on the California Zephyr which houses famous restaurants.
This place is the centre point of this area, which connects to the Golden State and Park's Hollywood Backlot, now you can move to any direction as per your inner drive for fun.

For providing entertainment the Plaza arranges a Disney's Electrical Parade. This parade is saturated with millions of colors, lights and dazzling sounds. Just be the part of this parade and see its awesomeness.
The sights and sounds effects of this nighttime parade will last with you all the time. The main focus of this parade is on the beloved Disney Classics, who are all there to provide you fun and enjoyment. You will find all your favorite characters you can imagine to be there with their spectacular performances.
You will love to see, The Blue Fairy, Mickey Mouse with her friend Mini Mouse, everyone's favorite Goofy, they all aboard on a Steam Train, Cinderella in her small but lovely coach, Alice in Wonderland and is on top of a giant mushroom, Dumbo at his circus, a battle between Captain Hook and Peter Pan on the ship, Snow White on his train along with the seven Dwarves, Pete riding on the top of Eliot with his dragon and the Grand finale, the tribute paid to America.
The Plaza also houses the California Zephyr, which is a shiny train that offers many delicious treats within it. It has mainly two counter-service restaurants, the Baker's Field Bakery and Bur-r-r bank Ice Cream. |
